Note: The museum is closed on Tuesdays.
Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island
Book timed ferry tickets in advance from statue city cruises.
From Newark: Depart from Liberty State Park (NJ).
From LaGuardia or JFK: Depart from Battery Park (NY).
Return to New York on your return ferry.
The ferry stops at both Ellis Island (museum) and Liberty Island (Statue of Liberty).
Allow a few hours — ferries are scheduled and require airport-style security.
Tip: Ellis Island closes first, so plan accordingly.
Walk to Brooklyn Bridge (≈20 min)
Enjoy views of the skyline and the East River as you cross this New York icon.
Subway to Times Square
