Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island

  • Book timed ferry tickets in advance from statue city cruises.

    • From Newark: Depart from Liberty State Park (NJ).

    • From LaGuardia or JFK: Depart from Battery Park (NY).

  • Return to New York on your return ferry.

  • The ferry stops at both Ellis Island (museum) and Liberty Island (Statue of Liberty).

  • Allow a few hours — ferries are scheduled and require airport-style security.

  • Tip: Ellis Island closes first, so plan accordingly.
