If flying into:

Newark Liberty International (EWR): Start at Ellis Island.
LaGuardia (LGA) or JFK: Start at the 9/11 Memorial.

9/11 Memorial & Museum

Visit the moving 9/11 Memorial and reflecting pools.
Note: The museum is closed on Tuesdays.

Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island

Book timed ferry tickets in advance from statue city cruises.

From Newark: Depart from Liberty State Park (NJ).
From LaGuardia or JFK: Depart from Battery Park (NY).

Return to New York on your return ferry.
The ferry stops at both Ellis Island (museum) and Liberty Island (Statue of Liberty).
Allow a few hours — ferries are scheduled and require airport-style security.
Tip: Ellis Island closes first, so plan accordingly.

Walk to Brooklyn Bridge (≈20 min)

Subway to Times Square
